Eric + Steph: McLean Wedding Photography

September 18, 2011

eric and steph are married! wow!

9-10-11 was an awesome day full of beauty and love and friendship and family. i had the distinct honor of helping eric and steph document their big day. steph booked me online and so i didn’t get a chance to meet her or eric until the wedding day. they welcomed me with open arms and i have to say that they both are genuine, beautiful people. they were surrounded by so much love it was hard to keep a dry eye.

they had a thumbprint tree sign in. awesome idea!

steph’s uncle mark, who flew in from oregon, took all of the before pictures of steph and the bridal party. i came in right in the middle of a toast.

eric and the groomsmen were so funny! i don’t think they really thought i’d lay down on the ground to get this picture.

the ceremony and reception were held at eric’s parents house. it was a lovely place.

beautiful light! beautiful bride!

i think i could have photographed these two all day!

the monsoon rains that took place every day before the wedding had everyone a little worried…but everything turned out beautiful!

the flowers were grown by zoe sollenberger of mehr brothers flowers of mcLean & arranged by an insanely talented and generous group of friends and family.  beautiful!

the cake was made by evan baltazar of sweets by e. so cute!

eric’s brother and best man gave the best bestman’s speech i have ever heard! there was laughter and tears and a song!! a song that he wrote, and sang, and played for eric and steph. awesome!
